The purpose of Seminary and Institute(S&I) is to help youth and young adults deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ and His restored gospel, qualify for blessings of the temple, and prepare themselves, their families, and others for eternal life with their Father in Heaven.
S&I has online learning programs and classes that are setup to reach a unique audience. These are individuals that need an independent, flexible schedule (Guidelines).
Both in-person and online programs cater for Seminary student ages of 14 to 18 and Institute student ages of 18 to 30.
S&I also serves BYU-Pathway students, including those over the age of 30.
