Elder Nuno A. Campos was named an Area Seventy and a member of the Third Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the April 2026 general conference.
Elder Campos has served in a number of Church callings, including branch president, stake presidency counselor, and stake president. Elder Campos earned a postgraduate degree in insurance management from Catolica Lisbon School of Business & Economics in 2021.
He went on to earn a master of business degree from MTW in 2024 and during this time he specialized in corporate governance, project management, and systematic integral coaching. He has worked as a service desk operator, an IT consultant, a business analyst, and as an IT manager. In more recent years, he has worked for Aliança Seguros, first as an IT manager from 2017 to 2020, then as a compliance officer from 2018 to 2022, and as a director of organization and information systems from 2020 to 2025. Since 2026 he has worked as director of strategy and transformation for Aliança Seguros.
Nuno Alves da Fonseca was born in Luanda, Angola on March 26, 1987. He married Jessica Teresa Firmino Coelho Campos in 2012. They are the parents of seven children. Elder and Sister Campos reside in Luanda, Angola
